The Little Extras Make A Difference
How many of us remember what the words “full service” meant when you pulled up to the gas pumps? I’m sure even many of us still remember the Texaco man and the jingle, “you can trust your car to the man who wears the star…”. Although the full service gas station may be a thing of the past, it is good to know that our dedication to service is as high as it was to the Texaco man.
I can certainly sympathize with the frustrated aircraft owner who brings his airplane into the shop for something minor like an oil change, and upon his preflight after delivery of the aircraft finds his tire pressures are low, or his landing or taxi lights are not working. At Advancetech Aircraft Maintenance, Inc., along with safety as our number one priority, is service. We perform a 15-point return-to-service checklist for every aircraft coming into our facility for service. We check your tires, check your oil levels, clean your windshield, and perform 12 additional checks to ensure your aircraft is ready to fly when you are ready to fly. And isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be?
I’ve always heard, “It’s the little things that count.” And in a world where there are a number of people who are doing the same thing you are, the best way to stay ahead of your competition is to give the customer what the others aren’t. At Advancetech Aircraft Maintenance, Inc., service does not stop when the repairs are completed, but when the customer is satisfied…a satisfaction is measured by just how brightly our “Texaco star” is shining.
