King Airs and Citation Jets
Over the past couple of years, we have seen a growing trend of business aircraft owners, especially in the agriculture industry, replacing their old, reliable Beechcraft King Air turboprop airplanes with Cessna Citation business jets. Advancetech has seen this first hand with a number of our King Air customers moving to the Cessna CJ Series, 550 Series, and even the Model 680 Sovereign. Advancetech, through the purchase of new tools and equipment and additional training for its technicians and management staff, has faced these changes head on. We currently maintain and number of Cessna CJ3’s and a CJ4, a number of 550’s and 550 Bravos, and a 680 Sovereign. We have also maintained a number of 560 Series, 560XL’s and 560XLS+ aircraft over the past couple of years.
So what does all of this mean to you? Well first of all, if you are an owner of a Cessna Citation aircraft, Advancetech is able to offer you the same comfort level that your aircraft will be as well taken care of as if you brought it to the factory for maintenance. We have compared inspection flat rates with flat rates charged by the Cessna service centers and are either right in line with or less than their inspection hours. We are also able to offer you savings on parts as Advancetech is able to purchase replacement parts from multiple vendors as opposed to purchasing the same parts just from Cessna which, as in the case of batteries and tires, could save you thousands of dollars!
As far as you King Air owners are concerned, we do still maintain a number of King Airs. You can still feel comfortable knowing that Advancetech is still able to provide you with the same level of experienced service on your King Air aircraft as we have for the past 37 years. From phase inspections to landing gear inspections to engine hot section inspections and engine overhaul management, Advancetech prides itself in being your King Air full service maintenance facility. Advancetech is also a dealer and installation facility for Raisbeck Engineering, Frakes Aviation exhaust stacks, Ice Shield deice boots and products, and Blackhawk Aviation who recognized Advancetech last year for the installation of three Blackhawk / Pratt & Whitney engine conversions in 2017.
Advancetech continually strives to stay ahead of the changing times. Regardless of whether you own a Bonanza or a King Air, a Cessna 172 or a Citation Jet, Advancetech can take care of your maintenance needs. Give us a call or stop in for a visit…you’ll be glad you did!!!
